- Extra Details:
- 1-palmitoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phospho-(1'-rac-glycerol) (16:0 LPG) is a form of lysophosphatidylglycerol (LPG), which increases intracellular Ca2+ release and induces phosphorylation on ERK and Akt in OVCAR3 cells however the exact receptor has not been identified. LPG can also modulate the formyl peptide like-1 activated inflammatory response in human phagocytes. Lysophospholipids are lipid mediators which elicit a diverse array of cellular responses through activation of phospholipid specific G protein-coupled receptors.
