Membrane permeant inositol polyphosphates are employed in cell signaling experiments to introduce exogenous inositol polyphosphates across cell membranes. Some examples of applications are listed below. See the following page for an example protocol. 1) M. Vajanaphanich et al. Long-term uncoupling of chloride secretion from intracellular calcium levels by Ins(3,4,5,6)P4 Nature, 1994, 971, 711-714. 2) M.T. Rudolf et al. A membrane-permeant, bioactivatable derivative of Ins(1,3,4)P3 and its effect on Cl(-)-secretion from T84 cells Bioorg. Med. Chem.Lett., 1998, 8, 1857-1860. 3) X. Yang et al. Inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate acts in vivo as a specific regulator of cellular signaling by inositol 3,4,5,6-tetrakisphosphate. J. Biol. Chem., 1999, 274, 18973-18980.Storage
