Description
CDK5 is a member of the Cyclin-Dependent Kinase family that is most abundant in the mammalian brain. This recombinant product is a complex of human Cdk5 and C-terminal His-tagged C-terminal p25 fragment of human p35, and was expressedin Sf9 insect cells by baculovirus.
Specific Activity: 500 U / mg, where one unit of cdk5/p25 activity is defined as 1 nmol phosphate incorporated into 0.1 mg/ml Histone H1 per minute at 35 degrees with a final ATP concentration of 100 uM.
