Detection of allergic protein in foods or solutionsThe Food Sanitation Law obliges that 7 specified allergenic ingredients (egg, milk, wheat, buckwheat, peanut, shrimp and crab), which have a high risk of inducing food allergy, should be listed on food labels. The Food Sanitation Lawalso recommends that 18 ingredients, including soybeans, should be listed on the label in a way similar to the specified allergenic ingredients.
