Description

The PMA-Lite™ 2.0 LED Photolysis Device provides continuous illumination for up to 18 samples at a time, enabling convenient and controlled photoactivation of PMA, PMAxx™ and similar dyes.

The device features a touchscreen interface with an easy-to-use timer, making it suitable for controlled photolysis steps in viability PCR workflows.

Key Features

• Uniform illumination: Provides uniform and maximal illumination to up to 18 tubes.
• Tube compatibility: Designed for 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes or 2 mL screw-cap tubes.
• Temperature control: An internal fan helps maintain a temperature below 37°C.
• Touchscreen interface: Easy-to-use touchscreen display with an integrated timer.
• Flexible timer: Timer settings can be adjusted in 1-minute intervals from 5 to 45 minutes.
• LED photolysis: Long-lasting LEDs with 465–475 nm emission for activation of PMAxx™, PMA, EMA and similar azido dyes.
• Power compatibility: 120/240 V internal converter with a universal outlet adaptor for customers outside North America.
